CIBSE Accredited CPD Training

Legionella Awareness Role of the Responsible Person training is designed to educate individuals who hold the role of the "Responsible Person" within an organization or facility on the risks associated with Legionella bacteria and the measures required to prevent and control its growth. Legionella is a bacterium that can cause Legionnaires' disease, a severe form of pneumonia, and Pontiac fever, a milder flu-like illness.

The training aims to empower the Responsible Person with the knowledge and skills necessary to oversee Legionella risk management effectively, implement preventive measures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. It is essential for maintaining a safe and healthy environment within buildings and facilities, particularly where water systems and aerosols may pose a risk of Legionella contamination.
